New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 847 million more 9˝% treasury bonds due 2022

Los Angeles, Feb. 6 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it sold KZT 847 million of additional 9˝% mid-term treasury bonds due 2022 (Meokam-60, 51st issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.

The bonds were sold at a “clean” price of 99.9839 to yield 9˝%, according to a notice.

The amount of accepted orders represents 28.2% of the issuer’s planned placement of KZT 3 billion of bonds. The issuer previously sold KZT 267 billion of the 9˝% bonds due 2022.
