New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 3 billion more 8˝% two-year treasury bonds

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 3 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it sold KZT 3 billion of additional mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-24, 86th issue) at a repeated special trading session held on Monday.

The ministry had issued an initial KZT 300 million of the 8˝% two-year bonds on Sept. 18, as previously reported.

The latest bonds were sold at a “clean” price of 99.9937, corresponding to a yield of 8˝%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 100% of the issuer’s planned placement.
