Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 10 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it sold KZT 5 billion of mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-60, 50th issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.
The 9.7% bonds due 2022 were sold at a “clean” price of 101.7857, corresponding to a yield of 9.2%.
The amount of accepted orders represents 100% of the issuer’s planned issuance.
The issuer had registered the 9.7% bonds in January 2017 and since then has issued a total of KZT 72.2 billion of the bonds.
