New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 9 billion 9.1% treasury bonds due 2020 at 100.2103 to yield 9%

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 8 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it sold KZT 9 billion of mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-36, 89th issue) at a special trading session held on Tuesday.
The 9.1% bonds due 2020 were sold at a “clean” price of 100.2103, corresponding to a yield of 9%.
The amount of accepted orders represents 100% of the issuer’s planned issuance. The issuer had registered the 9.1% bonds in April and since then has issued a total of KZT 10.2 billion of the bonds.
