New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 24.2 billion 9.7% five-year treasury bonds

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 24 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it sold KZT 24.2 billion of mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-60, 50th issue) at a special trading session held on Monday.

The five-year bonds carry a coupon of 9.7%.

Pricing details were not disclosed.

The amount of accepted orders represents 101% of the issuer’s planned issuance of KZT 24 billion of bonds.
