New Issue: Kazakhstan issues KZT 5.1 billion more 5.2% treasury bonds due 2017

Madison, Wis., Sept. 25 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 5.1 billion of 5.2% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-36, 87th issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.

This brings the total size of the issue to KZT 15.65 billion. The initial KZT 10.55 billion of three-year bonds settled on Aug. 18.

The newest bonds were auctioned at a net price of 99.9947 to yield 5.2%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 51% of the issuer’s planned issuance of KZT 10 billion of bonds.
