New Issue: Kazakhstan issues KZT 23.75 billion more 6.2% treasury bonds due 2019

Madison, Wis., Sept. 19 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 23.75 billion of 6.2% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-60, 48th issue) at a special trading session held on Friday.

This brings the total size of the issue to KZT 56.34 billion. The initial KZT 14.85 billion of five-year bonds settled on June 27, and an additional KZT 17.74 billion settled on July 23.

The newest bonds were auctioned at a net price of 98.7735 to yield 6½%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 119% of the issuer’s planned issuance of KZT 20 billion of bonds.
