New Issue: Kazakhstan issues KZT 12.41 billion more 7.47% treasury bonds due 2027

Madison, Wis., Sept. 18 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 12.41 billion of 7.47% long-term treasury bonds (Meukam-156, fifth issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.

This brings the total size of the issue to KZT 28.41 billion. The initial KZT 16 billion of 13-year bonds settled on June 20.

The newest bonds were auctioned at a net price of 100.0316 for proceeds of KZT 12.41 billion to yield 7.46%.

Active orders were submitted for KZT 12.64 billion of bonds.

The amount of accepted orders represents 62% of the issuer’s planned issuance of KZT 20 billion of bonds.
