New Issue: Kazakhstan issues KZT 11.98 billion more 7.13% treasury bonds due 2024

Madison, Wis., Sept. 10 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 11.98 billion of 7.13% long-term treasury bonds (Meukam-120, 14th issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.

The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 19.77 billion. The initial KZT 7.78 billion of 10-year bonds settled on Aug. 6.

The newest bonds were auctioned at a net price of 100.0486 for proceeds of KZT 12.07 billion to yield 7.12%.

Active orders were submitted for KZT 14.22 billion of bonds. Net prices on submitted orders ranged from 95.1439 to 100.8866, and yields ranged from 7% to 7.85%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 60% of the issuer’s planned issuance of KZT 20 billion of bonds.
