New Issue: Kazakhstan auctions KZT 10.55 billion 5.2% treasury bonds due 2017

Madison, Wis., Aug. 19 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for KZT 10.55 billion of 5.2% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-36, 87th issue) at a special trading session held on Monday.

Pricing details for the three-year bonds were not disclosed.

Active orders were received for KZT 21.95 billion of bonds. The coupon for submitted orders ranged from 4½% to 5.79%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 151% of the issuer’s planned issuance of KZT 7 billion of bonds.
