Kazakhstan sells no short-term treasury bonds at Monday auction

Madison, Wis., Sept. 23 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it auctioned no short-term treasury bonds (Mekkam-12, 134th issue) at a special trading session held on Monday due to an insufficient number of investors.

The issuer had intended to place KZT 1.5 million of one-year bonds.
