New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 14.72 billion more 4½% treasury bonds due 2018 to yield 5.65%

Madison, Wis., April 11 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for an additional KZT 14.72 billion of 4½% long-term treasury bonds (Meukam-72, ninth issue) on Thursday.

The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 25.72 billion. The initial KZT 5 billion of bonds settled on Aug. 21, 2012 and an additional KZT 6 billion settled on Oct. 29.

The newest six-year bonds were auctioned at a net price of 94.7768 for proceeds of KZT 14.37 billion to yield 5.65%.

Active orders were received for KZT 27.95 billion of bonds. The net price on submitted orders ranged from 93.2621 to 95.4355, and yields ranged from 5½% to 6%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 98.1% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 15 billion of bonds.
