Madison, Wis., Feb. 12 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for an additional KZT 14.9 billion of 5¾% long-term treasury bonds (Meukam-72, 10th issue) on Tuesday.
The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 21.45 billion. The initial KZT 2.4 billion of six-year bonds settled on Nov. 9, an additional KZT 2.05 billion settled on Nov. 23 and another KZT 2.1 billion settled on Dec. 20.
The newest bonds were auctioned at a net price of 99.9693 for proceeds of KZT 15.12 billion to yield 5¾%.
Active orders were received for KZT 24.31 billion of bonds. The net price on submitted orders ranged from 86.2974 to 101.1736, and yields ranged from 5½% to 8.8888%.
The amount of accepted orders represents 114.6% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 13 billion of bonds.
