New Issue: Kazakhstan auctions KZT 6.7 billion more 5½% treasury bonds due 2017

Madison, Wis., Dec. 26 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 6.7 billion of 5½% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-60, 46th issue) on Wednesday.

The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 39.39 billion. The initial KZT 19.6 billion of five-year bonds settled on Oct. 23, an additional KZT 2.59 billion settled on Nov. 27, and an additional KZT 10.5 billion settled on Dec. 12.

The net price for the latest bonds was 99.9915, for proceeds of KZT 6.76 billion, to yield 5½%.

Active orders were received for KZT 6.76 billion of bonds. The amount of accepted orders represents 55.8% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 12 billion of bonds.
