New Issue: Kazakhstan auctions KZT 2.59 billion more 5½% treasury bonds due 2017

Madison, Wis., Nov. 27 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 2.59 billion of 5½% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-60, 46th issue) on Tuesday.

The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 22.19 billion. The initial KZT 19.6 billion of five-year bonds settled on Oct. 23.

The net price for the latest bonds was 99.9943, for total proceeds of KZT 2.61 billion, to yield 5½%.

Active orders were received for KZT 5.15 billion of bonds. The net price on submitted orders ranged from 95.8498 to 101.0635, and the yields ranged form 5¼% to 6½%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 25.9% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 10 billion of bonds.
