New Issue: Kazakhstan auctions KZT 4.6 billion more 3.1% bonds to yield 4.0166%

Madison, Wis., Nov. 14 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for another KZT 4.6 billion of 3.1% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-36, 83rd issue) on Wednesday.

The ministry said this brings the total size of the issue to KZT 13.77 billion. The initial KZT 9.17 billion of three-year bonds settled on Dec. 7, 2011.

The net price for the latest bonds was 98.2, for total proceeds of KZT 4.58 billion, to yield 4.0166%.

Active orders were received for KZT 16.91 billion of bonds. The net price on submitted orders ranged from 93.528 to 98.2, and the yields ranged form 4.0166% to 6½%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 57.5% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 8 billion of bonds.
