New Issue: Kazakhstan auctions KZT 3.33 billion more 5½% treasury bonds due 2017

Madison, Wis., Oct. 11 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it placed an additional KZT 3.33 billion of 5½% mid-term treasury bonds (Meokam-60, 45th issue) on Thursday.

The ministry priced an initial KZT 7.7 billion tranche of the five-year bonds on Oct. 4.

The newest bonds were auctioned at a net price of 99.9986, for proceeds of KZT 3.34 billion, to yield 5½%.

Active orders were received for KZT 3.7 billion of the bonds. The net price on submitted orders ranged from 97.8700 to 99.9986, with yields ranging from 5½% to 6%.

The amount of accepted orders represents 16.7% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 20 billion of bonds.
