New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 6 billion treasury bonds due 2013 to yield 2.458%

Madison, Wis., Oct. 1 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for KZT 6 billion of short-term treasury bonds (Mekkam-12, 125th issue) on Monday.
The weighted average price for the one-year bonds was 97.601 for total proceeds of KZT 5.86 billion, and the weighted average yield was 2.458%.
Active orders were received for KZT 7.79 billion of bonds. The amount of accepted orders represents 30% of the issuer's planned issuance of KZT 20 billion of bonds.
