New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 17 billion 6.81% nine-year Treasury obligations

Chicago, Sept. 29 - The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it accepted orders for 17 billion Kazakh tenge of long-term Treasury obligations (Meujkam) on Wednesday.

The bonds mature on Sept. 29, 2019 and have a coupon of 6.81%, which is payable annually.

Orders were received for KZT 64.623 billion of the bonds.

The government said it issued the bonds at a margin of 1 basis point annual percentage rate above the inflation rate.
