New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 76.4 billion more 5% treasury bonds due 2023

Los Angeles, June 17 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry sold KZT 76.4 billion of additional 5% long-term treasury bonds due May 15, 2023 (Meukam-132, fifth issue) at a special trading session held on June 10.
The bonds were sold at a weighted average “clean” price of 85.7402, corresponding to a weighted average yield 10.9401%, according to a notice.
The amount of accepted orders represents 191% of the issuer’s planned placement of KZT 35 billion.
The issuer previously sold KZT 120,625,412,000 of the 5% bonds due 2023.
