New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 20 billion more 5% treasury bonds due 2023

Los Angeles, May 22 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry sold KZT 20 billion of additional 5% long-term treasury bonds due May 15, 2023 (Meukam-132, fifth issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.
The bonds were sold at a weighted average “clean” price of 85.5970, corresponding to a weighted average yield 10.9062%, according to a notice.
The amount of accepted orders represents 100% of the issuer’s planned placement.
The issuer previously sold KZT 24,150,800,000 of the 5% bonds due 2023.
