New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 8 billion more 9˝% treasury bonds due 2022

Los Angeles, April 16 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry sold KZT 8,000,664,000 of additional 9˝% mid-term treasury bonds due July 3, 2022 (Meokam-60, 51st issue) at a special trading session held on Wednesday.
The bonds were sold at a “clean” price of 97.0874 to yield 11%, according to a notice.
The amount of accepted orders represents 133.3% of the issuer’s planned placement of KZT 6 billion of bonds.
The issuer previously sold KZT 284,847,000,000 of the 9˝% bonds due 2022.
