New Issue: Kazakhstan sells KZT 2 billion more 6.65% bonds due 2021 at 9.4% yield

Los Angeles, Aug. 5 – Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Finance sold KZT 2 billion of additional 6.65% long-term treasury bonds due July 9, 2021 (Meukam-84, 15th issue) at a repeated special trading session held on Monday, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange notice.
The “clean” price was 95.3279, corresponding to a yield of 9.4%.
The amount priced represents 40% of the issuer’s planned placement of KZT 5 billion of bonds.
This brings the total amount of the Meukam-84, 15th issue bonds to KZT 46,619,000,000, according to the notice.
