Kazakhstan places no 8.46% treasury bonds due 2033 at Monday auction

Morgantown, W.Va., April 16 – The Kazakhstan Finance Ministry said it auctioned no additional long-term treasury bonds (Meukam-180, 14th issue) at the repeated special trading session held on Monday due to unfavorable prices on orders submitted.
The ministry had planned to place a further KZT 35 billion of the 8.46% bonds due 2033, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange notice.
There is KZT 88.25 billion of the bonds outstanding.
