S&P rates Katy I.S.D., Texas, bonds AAA

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AAA rating and AA- issuer credit rating to Katy Independent School District, Texas' $100 million of series 2008C unlimited-tax school building bonds.

At the same time, S&P said it affirmed the AAA rating and AA- issuer credit rating on the district's parity debt.

The outlook is stable.
