Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 25 – Kazakhstan’s JSC Kaspi Bank placed KZT 2.15 billion of 9.7% bonds due 2023 at a special trading session on Thursday, according to a Kazakhstan Stock Exchange notice.
The bonds were sold at a “clean” price of 94.0397 to yield 11½%.
The Almaty-based bank had registered to issue KZT 50 billion of the 9.7% bonds in January 2015 and planned to place KZT 5 billion at Thursday’s session. Prior to the latest placement, there was KZT 10,291,400,000 of the bonds outstanding.
