Fitch: Kasikorn notes AA-(tha)

Fitch Ratings (Thailand) said it assigned an AA-(tha) national long-term rating to Kasikornbank PCL's up to 22 billion Thai baht of 10-year subordinated debentures. The bank has an AA(tha) national long-term rating and a stable outlook.

The proceeds will be used for liquidity management.

The agency said Kasikornbank's ratings reflect its solid profitability and asset quality as well as its adequate capital and strong domestic banking franchise in the small-to-medium enterprise, corporate and retail banking segments.
