Kannapolis, N.C., postpones $95 million bond sale until July

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, June 11 - The City of Kannapolis, N.C., has delayed the planned sale of $95 million in bonds, said Karen Whichard, spokeswoman for the city.

The bonds, which were scheduled to price on Wednesday, will now be priced sometime in July, Whichard said.

"We're still working on the offering statement and finalizing details," Whichard said.

The bonds will be sold on a negotiated basis with Citigroup Global Markets as the senior manager.
