Empire Capital buys 7.6% stake in Kana Software

New York, Jan. 18 - Kana Software, Inc. investors led by Empire Capital Partners, LP purchased 2,784,441 shares of the company's stock, paying a purchase price of $4,794,692.

The reporting persons beneficially own 7.6% of the Menlo Park, Calif., customer communication software company's outstanding stock.
