Owl Creek, and Jefferies Buckeye Master Fund buy $147.21 million in claims against Kaiser Aluminum

Eugene, Ore., June 5 - Owl Creek II LP and Jefferies Buckeye Master Fund Ltd. bought a total of $147.21 million in claims against Kaiser Aluminum Corp., according to Monday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Owl Creek bought $140.67 million in claims against Kaiser Aluminum, and Jefferies Buckeye bought $6.54 million.

Kaiser, a Houston-based aluminum company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 12, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-10429.
