Kaiser Aluminum hires Bellino as executive vice president and CFO

Pittsburgh, May 9 - Kaiser Aluminum Corp. hired Joseph P. Bellino as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 15, according to a company news release.

Bellino came to Kaiser from Steel Technologies Inc.

According to the release, Bellino has extensive executive-level expertise in the manufacturing and distribution industries, primarily in the areas of business strategy, finance, acquisitions, institutional investor relationships, corporate governance and building shareholder value.

From 1996 to 1997, Bellino was president of Beacon Capital Advisors Co., a consulting firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, valuations and executive advisory services.

He also worked with Rhawn Enterprises and Mead Corp.

Bellino graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in finance from Ohio State University. He also holds an MBA from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.

Kaiser, a Houston-based aluminum company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 12, 2002 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-10429.
