Kaiser Aluminum earns $2.02 million in December

New York, Jan. 31 - Kaiser Aluminum Corp. earned $2.02 million in December compared to $1.59 million in November, according to its monthly operating report with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. October's figure was $1.77 million.

Revenues in December were $94.34 million compared to $109.85 million a month earlier and $98.74 million in October.

Operating income fell to $6.44 million from $7.37 million in November and back to around the $6.54 million of in October.

The Houston-based aluminum company had $55.54 million of cash at Dec. 31, up from $51.45 million on Nov. 30 and $31.38 million on Oct. 31.

Kaiser filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 12, 2002. Its Chapter 11 case number is 02-10429.
