S&P could lift AM General

Standard & Poor's said it placed its ratings, including the CCC corporate credit rating, on AM General LLC on CreditWatch with positive implications.

The CreditWatch placement follows AM General's recent legal settlement with BAE Systems plc. In April 2013, AM General won a judgment for about $277 million, which BAE appealed. AM General's financial statements are private and details of the settlement have not been publicly disclosed.
