AmerisourceBergen to price $900 million two-part note offering this week

St. Louis, Sept. 7 - AmerisourceBergen Corp. will hold an investor conference call at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday for its $900 million two-part offering of high-yield notes (Ba2/BB+), according to a syndicate source.

Pricing will follow on Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.

The Valley Forge, Pa., pharmaceutical services company is offering $500 million of 10-year senior notes and $400 million of seven-year senior notes. The notes in both tranches are non-callable for life.

Lehman Brothers, Banc of America Securities LLC and JP Morgan are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A with registration rights offering. The co-managers are Scotia Capital, Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Securities.

Proceeds will be used to finance the tender for $500 million of the company's 8 1/8% senior notes due 2008 and $300 million of its 7¼% senior notes due 2012 and for general corporate purposes.
