American Water Works amends, extends revolver maturity to June 2020

Norfolk, Va., July 7 – American Water Works Co., Inc. and American Water Capital Corp. amended and restated their unsecured revolving credit facility with Wells Fargo Bank, NA as administrative agent, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The June 30 amendment pushes the facility’s maturity to June 2020 from October 2018. It may be extended for up to two one-year periods.

The financial covenants with respect to the credit facility remain unchanged, the filing said.

JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA is a syndication agent, and Mizuho Bank, Ltd. and PNC Bank, NA are co-documentation agents.

American Water is a water and wastewater utility company based in Voorhees, N.J.
