Itronics receives default notice from noteholders

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 14 - Itronics Inc. received a notice of default on notes issued to Partners, LLC, New Millenium Capital Partners II, LLC, AJW Offshore, Ltd., AJW Qualified Partners, LLC, and AJW Master Fund, Ltd., according to an 8-K filed Tuesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company said in the filing that it received the notice on Oct. 10 and that it is considering engaging in negotiations with the investors to resolve the matter.

Based in Reno, Nev., Ironics operates a photochemical, silver and water recycling facility that removes the heavy metals from photoliquids.
