Fitch affirms American Transmission

Fitch Ratings said it has affirmed the issuer default rating and debt ratings for American Transmission Co., LLC as follows: long-term issuer default rating at A; senior unsecured at A+; short-term issuer default rating at F1; and commercial paper at F1.

The outlook remains stable.

The agency said that the company's ratings are based upon its low business risk profile as an electric transmission utility with no significant volume, commodity, or weather sensitivity.
