American Tower on deck with planned senior notes due 2024, 2029

Tupelo, Miss., March 12 – American Tower Corp. plans to price two tranches of dollar-denominated senior notes (Baa3/BBB-/BBB), according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

The deal includes notes due May 15, 2024 and March 15, 2029.

Barclays, Mizuho Securities (USA) LLC, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, SG Americas Securities, LLC and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the bookrunners.

The five-year notes will have a make-whole call before April 15, 2024 and a par call thereafter. The 10-year notes will have a make-whole call before Dec. 15, 2028 and will be callable at par thereafter.

The deal includes a change-of-control put at 101%.

Proceeds will be used to repay existing debt under the company’s 2013 credit facility and its 2014 credit facility.

American Tower is a telecommunications provider based in Boston.
