Des Moines, Jan. 4 - American TonerServ Corp. closed two private placements for $2.53 million, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In a $2.2 million deal, the company sold 44.05 stock units to 40 accredited investors for $50,000 per unit.
Each stock unit consists of 200,000 common shares and 200,000 redeemable warrants.
American TonerServ also issued 27 stock units in exchange for outstanding notes.
The company also sold 13 note units at $25,000 apiece in a $325,000 deal. Each note unit consists of a $25,000 promissory note and 50,000 redeemable warrants.
Each warrant is exercisable at $0.30 per share.
Based in Santa Rosa, Calif., American TonerServ redistributes printer toner cartridges.
