Credit Suisse plans buffered accelerated return equity notes on ETF basket

Olympia, Wash., Sept. 12 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% buffered accelerated return equity securities due June 17, 2021 linked to an unequally weighted basket of the S&P Midcap 400 ETF with a 60% weight and the iShares Russell 2000 ETF with a 40% weight, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any basket gain, capped at par plus 17.6%.

Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 15% and will lose 1% for each 1% that the basket falls beyond 15%.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.

The notes will price on Sept. 13.

The Cusip number is 22552FWL2.
