Bank of Montreal plans buffered bullish enhanced return notes linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Tacoma, Wash., April 1 - Bank of Montreal plans to price 0% buffered bullish enhanced return notes due April 30, 2013 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any increase in the fund's share price, subject to a maximum return of 17.2%. Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 15%.

The notes (Cusip: 06366QFW2) are expected to price April 26 and settle April 29.
