JPMorgan to price buffered return enhanced notes linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF

Madison, Wis., Oct. 19 - JPMorgan Chase & Co. plans to price 0% buffered return enhanced notes due May 15, 2012 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets index fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any increase in the exchange-traded fund's share price, subject to a maximum return of 15% to 20% that will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the share price falls by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.

The notes (Cusip: 48124AS81) are expected to price Nov. 9 and settle Nov. 15.
