Chicago, Jan. 10 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $655,000 of 0% market-linked securities – leveraged upside participation and buffered downside due Jan. 3, 2024 linked to a basket of exchange-traded funds, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket consists of the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund with a 60% weight and the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund with a 40% weight.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any basket gain, up to a maximum of 40%.
Investors will receive par if the basket falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to any losses beyond the buffer.
