Credit Suisse plans absolute return digital barrier notes on MSCI EM

Olympia, Wash., Aug. 16 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% absolute return digital barrier securities due Sept. 2, 2022 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the fund finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the fixed return of 35.5%.
If the fund finishes at or above the 70% knock-in level, the payout will be par plus the absolute value of the return of the fund.
Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on Aug. 30 and settle on Sept. 5.
The Cusip number is 22551L4R8.
