Morgan Stanley to sell PLUS due May 3, 2017 linked to iShares MSCI EM

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 19 – Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due May 3, 2017 linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 300% of any fund gain, up to a cap of 21.85%.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 61765U704) will price on Jan. 29 and settle on Feb. 3.
