New Issue: Goldman prices $5.01 million leveraged notes linked to iShares EM ETF

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 7 – Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. priced $5.01 million of leveraged notes due April 2, 2018 tied to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus double any fund gain, up to a maximum payout of $1,446 per $1,000 of notes.

Investors will be exposed to any losses.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
