RBC plans leveraged buffered notes on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Madison, Wis., June 24 – Royal Bank of Canada plans to price 0% 23- to 25-month leveraged buffered notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the fund return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 130% of the fund return, subject to a maximum settlement amount of $1,195 to $1,234 per $1,000 principal amount.

Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 10% or less and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.

RBC Capital Markets, LLC is the underwriter.

The Cusip number is 78010UG27.
