Goldman Sachs plans digital notes on iShares MSCI Emerging Markets

Madison, Wis., Nov. 15 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 15- to 18-month 0% digital notes linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is greater than or equal to negative 10%, the payout at maturity will be the maximum settlement amount, which is expected to be $1,097.50 to $1,110 per $1,000 principal amount. Otherwise, investors will lose 1.1111% for each 1% that the index declines beyond 10%.
The exact maturity date and maximum settlement amount will be set at pricing.
