New Issue: Citigroup prices $4.72 million contingent coupon notes linked to S&P, Russell, EAFE

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., March 12 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $4.72 million of callable contingent coupon equity-linked securities due March 13, 2023 linked to the least performing of the S&P 500 index, the Russell 2000 index and the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

Each quarter, the notes pay a contingent coupon at the rate of 10.2% per year if each underlier closes at or above its coupon barrier level, 80% of its initial level, on each day during that quarter.

Beginning in September 2019, the notes are callable at par quarterly.

The payout at maturity will be par unless the least-performing underlier finishes below its final barrier level, 60% of its initial level, in which case investors will be exposed to the least-performing underlier’s decline from its initial level.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
