New Issue: Citigroup sells $500,000 buffer securities tied to iShares MSCI EAFE

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 28 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. priced $500,000 of 0% buffer securities due Aug. 30, 2021 linked to the iShares MSCI EAFE exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.1175 times any fund gain. Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 20% and will lose 1% for every 1% that the fund declines beyond the 20% buffer.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
